Award SDG of Pacto Global 2019 – final

May 21, 2019

Specialisterne Brasil has won one of the awards of Pacto Global (UN Global Compact) for 2019. In a ceremony in São Paulo, last May 16th, our General Manager in Brazil, got the award along with other 12 social initiatives focused on the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

This year, more than 800 projects were competing for the award, and our results in including people with autism in the labor market in cooperation with other organizations were awarded as the best project for ‘SMEs working together with other organizations‘.

Specialisterne Brasil signed the Pacto Global in Brasil in 2017 and is a member of the ‘Human Rights in the Companies’ task force. Pacto Global (or Global Compact) was launched in 2000 to involve companies in aligning their strategies and operations with the 10 universal principles of Human Rights, Employment, Environment and Anti-Corruption. Today, Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 13,000 members in almost 80 local networks covering 160 countries. The Brazil Network of the Global Compact has been gaining more and more space and relevance within the Brazilian business sector, and also within the structure of the Global Compact. The Brazilian network currently is the third largest network in the world, with almost 800 members.

We at Specialisterne are very grateful to our consultants, technical staff and all partner companies that have made this important recognition possible
